Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools are becoming more common and even let you create full websites. It means that choosing from among the best WordPress AI website builders can be tough if you don’t know where to start. However, the right solution is going to speed up your design process and could see you ‘go live’ faster while still producing quality.
I’m going to look at some of the best WordPress AI website builders available today. At the end, I’ll let you know which options I think will suit your own needs.
What Is the Best WordPress AI Website Builder?
The post is going to round up the best eight WordPress AI website builders (in my opinion anyway). Let me give you a quick summary of the best use case for each one:
- ZipWP. The best WordPress AI website builder not tied to a particular theme or host.
- 10Web AI Builder. This is the best option to visualize your new website design.
- Elementor AI. This offers complex design control within the familiar Elementor interface.
- Divi AI. This is best for creatives who use Divi, naturally!
- Brizy AI for WordPress. The fastest and smoothest building experience.
- Liftoff AI by DreamHost. My pick if you need an AI WordPress builder on shared hosting.
- GoDaddy Airo. Marketers rejoice! GoDaddy provides excellent AI functionality within its packages.
- Hostinger Website Builder. If you want to test AI website building, this is arguably the most generous trial available.
Of course, there are more WordPress AI builders than what’s on this list. I’ve had to narrow down the list a little, so I want to go over that process before looking at the eight candidates.
How I’m Choosing the Best WordPress AI Website Builders
First off, the list will only include solutions that come from quality providers, perform well, and get regular maintenance. It may also seem obvious but I also am going to only include tools that are either WordPress-native or fully compatible with self-hosted WordPress. This is why the WordPress.com AI builder won’t appear:
However, I have some other criteria to help me pick out the top options for AI builders:
- Good integration with WordPress. This is also applicable for an AI builder from a hosting provider. The tool needs to integrate with both.
- Usability. A priority is for solutions that can make creating a website faster and easier, not only different.
- Customization options. AI is going to do the heavy lifting, as you’d expect. However, you still need design flexibility within the builder to make the site your own.
Pricing and value for money is also important, but that comparison is a little unfair here. This is because some of these builders are standalone products, whereas others come within a hosting bundle, depending on the developer. Still, I’ll note pricing for each builder for your reference.
With all of this ‘admin’ out of the way, let’s start with the list!
1. ZipWP: Best Host-Agnostic WordPress AI Builder

One minute is all ZipWP needs to create a complete WordPress website. It’s the brainchild of WordPress veterans Sujay Pawar and Adam Preiser, so provides the same flexibility and lack of ‘lock-in’ that the best WordPress solutions offer. The interface is sweet and after giving as much detail on what your site should be as possible, ZipWP takes over.

If you don’t have technical knowledge but you’re a small business owner, freelancer, or entrepreneur who needs a website fast, this is excellent. I’d also consider it serviceable if you’re a designer who needs to speed up client workflows.
What I Like
- Incredible speed. It’s amazing how ZipWP can create a full WordPress website complete with relevant content, images, and structure in under a minute.
- Native to WordPress. The builder will create a WordPress website that you can host anywhere, customize with any plugin, and fully own. The lack of lock-in is something I love!
- Output quality. The content and designs the builder generates are on-point for me. It feels more custom than using templates that AI plugins into.
What I Don’t Like
- Site expiration. Free sites expire after 24 hours (and up to 15 days for premium plans). As such, you’ll need to export them within that quick timeframe.
- No local site creation. You can’t create a local site, which would be helpful for many development workflows.
As for ZipWP’s pricing, I like the tier structure. There’s a ‘free forever’ plan, two tiers with annual billing (starting from $204), and even a ‘pay per use’ tier that lets you generate five sites for a $99 one-off fee.
How to Get Started
- 👉🏼 Take ZipWP for a spin with its free forever plan, then upgrade when you feel ready!
2. 10Web AI Builder: The Best Way to Visualize Your AI Website

10Web’s AI Website Builder is (like many on this list) one part of a hosting package, so there’s less flexibility than with ZipWP. The interface is smooth and I liked the tree view relating to the site structure during generation:

If you’re a visual person, the generation process could be ideal for you. I liked the output too, although I’m not a fan of AI generation for images. As with many of these tools that generate text, you’ll want to rewrite it all.
What I Like
- Visual setup process. You enter a description, view a tree diagram of your site’s structure, and preview the results. Simple!
- Robust AI generation. I liked the accuracy of the AI and the layout of the design is an excellent foundation.
- Editing in place. It was pleasing to see I could refine the generation during the preview stage and suggest further refinements through the AI assistant.
What I Don’t Like
- Learning curve. If you want the AI to simply generate your site, you might not enjoy the few extra steps it takes to get there.
- Image generation. The images suffer in some ways, such as the typical garble that’s a tell-tale sign of using AI generators.
10web bundles its AI builder into its hosting, so you’ll pay for the package. Premium plans begin from $20 per month, which is reasonable for what you get.

3. Elementor AI: Super Detail and Flexibility Using Copilot
Elementor gets a few mentions on WP Mayor so I want to hold space for the Elementor AI functionality here. It gives you a lot of scope to develop your website, but it isn’t a quick run through. The Site Planner uses a chat window to help you develop a brief for your site, and this can take a while.

I had to run through questions I had already given an answer for in some cases, but the results had depth by the end:

I liked the focus on design and consistency. This will appeal if you want control but also want to hand off the generation to AI. Of course, if you’re an Elementor user who wants to keep a tight control over your design, this will be ideal.
What I Like
- Seamless integration. The AI feels like a natural extension of Elementor rather than a bolt-on.
- Versatile generation options. You can generate designs from text descriptions, web references, or even existing Elementor containers.
- AI Site Planner. The ability to create a complete site plan and wireframe before you build saves lots of planning time and gives you focus.
What I Don’t Like
- Requires Elementor Pro. You’ll need an Elementor Pro subscription before you can even add the AI functionality.
- Extra costs. You have to pay for Elementor AI separately from your typical subscription, which could be expensive for some users.
AI credits begin from $48 per year, without the cost of an Elementor Pro subscription. With that, you’ll look at around $110 for a ‘starter’ pack.

4. Divi AI: The Best Option for Elegant Themes Users
Much like Elementor, the Divi theme is also popular and contains AI functionality. It also covers a wide scope in its use, such as design, content generation, and image creation.

You can click on any of the designated buttons throughout the various panels of Divi’s Visual Builder to generate content in place. This also goes for elements such as code and custom CSS as the AI knows how to interact with Divi’s set of modules.
Divi AI will be a go-to if you use the theme, of course. However, switching to it is something you’ll enjoy if you prioritize design flexibility in your workflow.
What I Like
- Powerful customization. Divi offers robust customization anyway, but the AI respects and enhances this to give you even more capabilities.
- No AI credits. Unlike other credit-based builders, a Divi Pro subscription gives you as much access to AI as you need.
- Divi fine-tuning. Elegant Themes trains the AI on the Divi module codebase, which means you’ll get better results with Divi-specific functionality.
What I Don’t Like
- Requires the Divi theme. You’ll have to use Divi to use the AI, which will lock you into a theme you don’t might not want to use.
- Initial learning curve. There’s a lot on offer with Divi AI, so you’ll need the time to learn how best to use everything.
A Divi Pro subscription will give you full and complete access to Divi AI. This costs $277 per year. If you already have Divi (or don’t want the other tools in the bundle), a subscription to the AI element is $193 per year.

5. Brizy AI for WordPress: A Sleek and Rapid Design Iteration Experience
WordPress AI website builders come in a few guises: either as part of a theme, an existing website builder plugin, or with a host. Brizy is like Elementor in that it’s a popular builder plugin that brings more out of your designs thanks to its AI.

This offers arguably the fastest setup process and feels slick to use. Once you offer a business name and a description, Brizy will generate your site. You’ll notice there is no way to choose specific design elements at first, so the result will likely not be suitable (unless you like purple).
However, there are options to regenerate the content in place – you’ll be able to edit everything else to your liking later:

Overall, Brizy will suit you for three reasons: you want a smooth setup experience, need a fast design iteration, and have a desire to use all-in-one cloud hosting.
What I Like
- Simplicity first. The interface is user-centric and accessible to all types of user.
- Fast website generation. If you supply existing Google My Business information, you can create a complete website that will need much less editing.
What I Don’t Like
- No self-hosted option. The cloud version is available now, but there’s no dedicated standalone WordPress plugin to purchase.
You can get Brizy’s AI website builder on its Cloud plans, which includes hosting. This starts from $190 per year.

6. Liftoff AI by DreamHost: The Shared Hosting Choice
I have been a user of DreamHost’s shared hosting packages in the past and have always enjoyed the experience. Liftoff AI brings website building to these wallet-cuddling setups, which is an exciting option!

The tool gives you the functionality you’d expect, such as content creation, design customization, a library of layouts, and much more. If you’re a DreamHost customer, this should already be available to you. However, if your budget is small, this is also a fantastic option.
What I Like
- No extra costs. All DreamHost WordPress hosting plans include Liftoff AI, which offers maximum accessibility.
- WordPress native. You’re able to customize the sites you generate with Liftoff AI with any of your favorite WordPress tools.
- Quick setup. The installation process through DreamHost’s control panel is just as smooth as setting up hosting.
What I Don’t Like
- Host lock-in. While you have design flexibility, you, of course, need to be a DreamHost customer to use Liftoff AI.
I value DreamHost’s shared hosting plans a lot, so having a WordPress AI website builder available is excellent news. With the right package, you could have a complete set up for the equivalent of $6 per month.

7. GoDaddy Airo: The Marketer’s Choice
GoDaddy is less a straightforward host and more of a marketing ecosystem. This gives its Airo AI creation tool a unique edge as it focuses on conversions and sales.

Much like GoDaddy’s other tools, you’ll like this if you’re a small business owner, freelancer, or agency. This is thanks to its functionality relating to building a brand and putting eyes on your site.
What I Like
- Focuses on branding. You can create cohesive branding across your website, logo, and marketing materials.
- Google Business integration. You’re able to pull information from your Google Business profile to populate your website.
- Marketing integration. There are tools for email marketing, social media, and SEO, which makes Airo a complete business solution.
What I Don’t Like
- Ecosystem lock-in. An inherent drawback of being in the GoDaddy ecosystem is that it will make a potential future migration a challenge.
- Pricing clarity. The pricing structure can be confusing with different tiers and promotional periods.
GoDaddy’s pricing is confusing and the dedicated page doesn’t specify which plans come with Airo access. However, the Basic Website Builder plan at around $200 per year will definitely give you that access.

8. Hostinger Website Builder: Best for a Generous Trial
I’d compare Hostinger’s AI Website Builder to Liftoff AI. Both are hosting additions that offer a streamlined and simple workflow. Like other tools, you’ll describe what you want, customize the results, and publish the site.

If you want the absolute simplest path to AI website creation without wrestling with WordPress complexities, Hostinger will be for you. The free trial is also generous and it can help you understand whether AI website building is something you want to continue with.
What I Like
- Three-step process. The entire process is three steps long, which is great for quick prototyping.
- AI product information generator. For e-commerce sites, the AI can generate product titles, descriptions, and labels from images.
- 7-day free trial. The entire AI builder is available on a week-long free trial, so you can test it without commitment before purchasing.
What I Don’t Like
- Hostinger’s pricing model. You get a heavy discount for long-term subscriptions, which will increase up to 75 percent after your initial signup period.
You can begin with a Premium Website Builder plan that gives you foundational access to the AI generator at an equivalent of $3 per month. However, this is based on a 48-month subscription term and will see your cost rise to $12 per month afterwards.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Let’s finish with a recap of some of the key questions you might have from the article itself. As always, you can reach out to me to ask your own questions about WordPress AI website builders in the comments section below!
What is the best AI website builder for WordPress?
While there isn’t one definitive ‘best’ AI website builder for WordPress, ZipWP stands out for me. I like that it’s platform agnostic. GoDaddy Airo will appeal to focus on marketing your business. Liftoff AI is budget-conscious and as powerful as other solutions.
Does WordPress have an AI builder?
No, WordPress doesn’t have a native AI builder for self-hosted websites. However, there is one for WordPress.com sites. You’ll need a third-party solution to build on top of WordPress using AI.
What is the best free AI builder for WordPress?
ZipWP offers a limited free tier, but there isn’t a full-functioning and free AI builder available – which is understandable. However, Liftoff AI and Hostinger’s AI Website Builder are great if you have a smaller budget.
Which WordPress AI website builders did you consider for this post?
There are (of course) more than eight WordPress AI website builders. Here’s a quick list of those I looked at before I whittled the selection down:
- ZipWP.
- WordPress.com’s website builder.
- CodeWP.
- Kubio AI.
- 10Web AI Builder.
- Elementor AI.
- Bluehost’s Wondersuite.
- Divi AI.
- Appypie.
- Brizy AI for WordPress.
- WPBakery Page Builder.
- Liftoff AI by DreamHost.
- SiteGround Website Builder.
- GoDaddy Airo.
- Hostinger Website Builder.
Choosing the Best WordPress AI Website Builder
Given that most of the current WordPress AI website builder options come with an existing solution, ZipWP is going to always be at the top of the list for most users. The ability to generate a complete WordPress site in 60 seconds that you can take to whichever host and builder you want gives it an edge.
However, Elementor AI, Divi AI, or Brizy will be no-brainer decisions if you already use those specific plugins. Similarly, the various hosting packages that offer AI will also make sense. However, I would look to Liftoff AI for shared hosting as I rate DreamHost’s setup as an ex-customer.
