We’ve had an action-packed few weeks, launching three new features (Attribute Management, Settings Search and Filtering, and Extend Attributes), three weeks in a row, with no sneak peeks in between.
So I’m making up for lost time with a triple sneak peek at three new features I’m working on while the rest of the team continues developing projects like Flexbox, WooCommerce modules, and Loop Builder, all of which are almost finished.
We’re gearing up for an action-packed month!
So, what have I been working on in my free time? Let me show you. 👇
Find and Replace
One of my goals has been to fill the gaps and bring over missing features from Divi 4 while improving them. I did that with Attribute Management, Settings Search and Filtering, and Extend Attributes.
Next up is Find and Replace, a super powerful feature that allows you to make sweeping targeted changes to attributes across your page. Right-click on any field, then find and replace its value within a defined scope.
I chose to focus on Find and Replace because it will be instrumental in adopting Divi’s new design system, including variables. One of the best use cases for Find and Replace is to find static values in your Divi 4 websites and replace them with variables.
Element Inspector
I’ve also been working on some new features, my favorite of which is the Inspector. This thing is amazing.
You can click on any element to get a list of all the styles, presets, and content used in that element and its children. Then, you can quickly adjust those values across the entire set of elements at once.
The Inspector will be a unique feature to Divi 5 that you can’t find in other builders. Trust me, once you use it, you won’t want to live without it.
Group Carousel Module
I have also been testing Divi 5’s new module architecture, spinning up new modules, and getting ready for a significant push on module development.
I created simple modules like an Icon List and a Lottie module. Still, the most exciting module I’m working on is the Group Carousel module, which leverages Divi 5’s new group element. You can create a carousel of groups, and then build out the contents of each slide using Divi’s full range of elements to create any type of carousel.
Have You Tried Extend Attributes?
In case you missed it, check out my video from last week announcing the release of Extend Attributes.
Many people have told us they miss the Extend Styles feature from Divi 4, so I dedicated some free time to bringing it to Divi 5 and making it ten times better. This is a seriously powerful surprise feature to add to the list of all the other great things coming to Divi 5. 🤩

Follow And Subscribe
I hope you enjoyed that little snapshot of my personal Divi 5 side quests, which are far along in development. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of them is ready next week, so make sure you follow and subscribe to never miss an update!
If you are a Divi user, you want to be subscribed to our YouTube channel. It only takes a moment to click that subscribe button. You’ve probably heard that a million times, but this time, take that moment, make that click, and follow along as Divi 5 makes its comeback. 😀
